Welcome to BookWorms Virtual Book Club! I hope you are excited about finding us and will decide to join. The long and short of it is I love reading; I am the founder of a book club and wanted to expand. Like a lot of people I had tons of books and I only gave away my paperbacks. I’ve lived in many different places and I always start a book club in each place. The basic idea of my book club was, monthly, each member would pick a book for the group to read. The next month we’d meet discuss the book we read and pick another one. This was an excellent way to discover new authors! Then I was given the Nook as a birthday gift last year and I was hooked. I even discovered sites dedicated to Nook owners, however, the basis of the site was to “lend” books instead of discuss them. So I decided to create a site using my book club as a guideline. There you have it from the novice to the seasoned reader; from the paperback reader to the digital readers all are welcomed!
